What to do with excess trash and recyclables?

Environmental Waste Services has opened a temporary stop and go location at the Transfer station at 1434 Commerce St. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday  and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday during the approved shelter in place ordinance. 

Please DO NOT place household trash outside your green trash cart or mixed in with your recycling in the blue recycle cart.  All items must fit in the carts with the lids able to close. 

Not sure about your collection schedule? 

Check out maps.garlandtx.gov/maps/mygarland/ under the Services section on the lower left side of the page for your pickup day and recycling week color.
